Job Description:
Onsite, Monday - Friday 8am-5pmBachelor's degree preferred, but will take lower degree with relevant experience!

    Role Purpose:
    • The MASTERPIX--- photo on glass program is a business built to provide direct sales to consumers and commercial prospects via eCommerce (the MASTERPIX--- website). The products currently include glossy and matte Gorilla Glass prints in various sizes to support photo industry needs. The Product Line could extend to include other glasses and/or finishes to achieve lower cost or different performance.
    • The Product Line Specialist has a responsibility to assist in the development and execution of a product line strategy that supports the achievement of desired product line sales growth and profitability for the growing global business.
      Key Responsibilities:
      • Key member of a team consisting of functional leads from Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales, IT, Finance, Legal, Development (when needed) and Masterpix--- Business Manager to:
      • Participate in the development and execution of a global strategy for the photo business.
      • Participate in the development and execution of the product line roadmap in support of the newly developed Masterpix--- sub-branding strategy.
      • Participate in the design and execution of a pricing strategy for each channel.
      • Participate in the development and execution of the product line planning process, including the identification of critical projects to be undertaken for the year.
      • Find the optimal solution (balancing the needs of client and the customer) to all product issues related to performance (i.e., specs, attributes, services), quality, share growth, customer needs.
      • Manage the contract manufacturer relationships to ensure optimal customer service and costs.
      • Execute the brand strategy.
      • Understand downstream market requirements and assess competitive threats and implications for the business.
      • Create long-term forecasting plans The PLS identifies the best mix for the market segments through effective segmentation and portfolio rationalization.
      • Optimizes inventory management related to the product line by coordinating information flow, as needed, between Forecasting, Manufacturing, and other parties as needed.
      • May get involved in supply chain disruption issues to influence or make decisions on global order and Development/ Manufacturing prioritization.
      • Works with Manufacturing to identify opportunities to reduce complexity and cost reduction in the manufacturing process both at contract manufacturers and with customers, as appropriate. Further, the PLS---
      • Addresses new product/special requests by developing a business case (including P&L and balance sheet implications) to determine the feasibility and pricing requirements of the requests.
      • Participates in pricing levels by establishing pricing structure, optimizing product premiums, and ensuring value received for product line.
      • Works closely with Business Manager to set direction and approve creative updates, marketing plans, tradeshow participation and material, promotions, etc.
      • Is an individual contributor that delivers high-quality products to customers with minimal supervision.
      • Develops and distributes monthly metrics on sales, markets, and profitability.
        Required Experiences and Education:
