The Rescue Mission operates 19 store locations (3fifteen and Thrifty Shopper), 8 donations centers and 2 warehouses in order to support the Rescue Mission’s ability to provide programs, shelter and food for those in need in Central New York. We are looking for a highly motivated intern to support our Donation Redistribution Center by creating and maintaining excel spreadsheets that track and control productivity, logistics, and performance. During the eight-week experience, the Social Enterprise Operations Intern will help us achieve our mission by leveraging their expertise in Microsoft Excel. RESPONSIBILITIES: Data entry (Excel) Maintain Excel spreadsheets that enable analysis of each area Create various charts and graphs Assist with the development of an ordering system to meet the delivery needs of stores Aid in the daily aspects of Social Enterprise QUALIFICATIONS and DESIRED SKILLS Motivated self-starter able to take initiative once initial direction is set Inquisitive nature and proactive approach to opportunity identification Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail A high level of accountability and reliability Excellent written and verbal communication skills CONTACT : Luana Lovenguth 315-701-3881
