Military Veterans are Encouraged to Apply. -Akkodis is seeking a Cloud Services Lead for a position with a client located in Rochester, NY. Partial onsite work is REQUIRED.

5 plus years of hands on JAVA Development experience is required for this role.

Pay/Salary Range: $74-$98K /year

This Cloud Services Lead job responsibilities include:

• Manages and monitors services in the Microsoft 365 platform (including but not limited to Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, the Power Platform, Planner, Forms, Bookings, and Project); troubleshoots and resolves technical issues on the platform;
  
• Serves as a Subject Matter Expert on capabilities of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools and their evolving licensing model; stays current on Microsoft 365 features and capabilities including availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, backup, and security;
  
• Works closely with IT Management Team and Cloud Services Coordinator position to drive the multi-year IT strategy for projects, upgrades, and trainings for the Microsoft 365 platform, including strategic planning and timeline, project management, and implementation;
  
• Assists with the creation of policies around the proper use of Microsoft 365 services and support;
  
• Gathers business requirements from end users for solutions configured using the Microsoft 365 platform; creates system design models, specifications, and diagrams to provide direction to the data and digital services development team; • Documents operational processes and ensures user knowledge base is accurate and kept up to date;
  
• Supports the SharePoint Administrator as needed to formulate and create Office 365 SharePoint sites; maintains a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring;
  
• Assists with the migration of data into the Microsoft 365 environment;
  
• Administers and supports system backup and disaster recovery processes;
  
• Assists other team members and business site owners with the implementation of new process automation solutions and provide day-to-day operations support.
  
  
  QUALIFICATIONS:
  
  Associates degree OR Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field AND four (4) years of work experience administering Microsoft 365 platform /applications
