Job Overview: The City Mattress delivery department assistant is an important part of our warehouse and distribution team and is responsible for supporting the sales, warehouse and delivery personnel after a sale has been made. This position reports to the Delivery Department Manager as well as the Warehouse Manager. Responsibilities and Duties: Work directly with sales, warehouse and delivery personnel to ensure that sales orders are handled accurately until the time it's delivered Schedule customer deliveries Print out different reports for management, delivery department, warehouse and delivery service Responsible for invoicing customer orders Posts payments for Accounts Receivable Coordinate store transfers Miscellaneous filing Answering Phone Light typing (not typing long documents and can work at her own pace) and performing data entry Light clerical (if there are restrictions, we can accommodate) Any light lifting can be accommodated Any other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School Diploma, associate/bachelor's degree preferred 2 + years' experience working in a warehouse, office, or customer service environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pleasant phone voice Must be detail oriented and be able to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
