Business Office Assistant Primary Duty:The Business Office Assistant is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day Business office and Human Resources operations. Essential job functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to performs the essential functions.Assist with human resources functions:Assists Administrator by acting as an on-site resource for employees and managers, answering employee inquiries and providing documents for personnel actions, including, but not limited to, employment applications, new hires, status changes, paid time off, leaves of absence.Prepare job requisitions as requested by managersMaintains confidential personnel files and personnel actionsReports garnishment orders and/or support order to the Human Resources departmentReports new hires and terminations to the HR/Corporate Soul department.Assist Administrator with various HR projectsExplains company personnel policies, benefits and procedures to employees.Assist with entering new hires into the State employee reporting portal within required time frameAssists with payroll functions, including payroll processingAssists in the review of time clock records and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepanciesAssists Administrator with the daily verification of employee attendanceAssists with directing employee inquiries regarding paychecks to payroll companyReports any issues or problems that may arise to the AdministratorComplies with state, federal, and all other applicable health care, financial and safety standardsAssists families and other visitors as neededOther duties as assigned Why PLC?Industry Leader.
