Job Description:

Project Administrative Assistant, temp-hire role in Rochester, NY.Responsible for assisting project managers with organizing and controlling project activities through communicating risks, opportunities, and current state of the project. They will coordinate meetings, resources, equipment, and information. This position ensures projects run smoothly by controlling workflow, scheduling assignments, evaluating the course of the project and reporting its status to the Project Manager.Prepare correspondence, memorandums, quotes, and delivery receipts in proper format and proofread, and mail or fax as required. Participates in project design meetings. Coordinates all team members to keep workflow on track. Manages project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored. Documentation management of programs/projects. Utilizes analytical and problem-solving skills. Prepares shipping documentation and prepares samples for shipping. Organizes and controls project activities. Communicates risks, opportunities, and current state of the project.--Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent telephone etiquette. High level of customer service skills and experience. Prior experience in a professional office environment. Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking skills. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, etc. Experience operating standard office equipment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Attention to detail even under pressure. Education and Job Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Work Environment and Physical Demands Light physical demands to include some bending, kneeling, reaching and light lifting. General office environment.
