Job Summary: Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) services include full-service CFO Advisory Services, Controller, bookkeeping, vendor bill processing and payment, customer invoicing, payroll processing and tax reporting, and sales tax preparation. In this role, you will be a member of our CAAS group accountable for providing Senior Accountant-level accounting services, including processing payables and receivables, and various other accounting operations for assigned clients. Responsibilities: · Oversee and manage the responsibilities of assigned CAAS transactional staff · Oversee timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices · Oversee accounts receivable invoices and application of payments · Manage payroll processing and reporting · Prepare and file sales tax returns · Perform accounting system cleanups · Assist with the month-end closing process for assigned clients Qualifications: · BS in Accounting or equivalent experience · Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting · Prior supervisory experience required · Experience with QuickBooks preferred · High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint · Possess excellent communication skills · Must have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy · Possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills · Able to manage multiple priorities and workflow Commitment to excellence and high standards "Bowers" is the brand name under which Bowers & Company CPAs, PLLC and Bowers Advisors, LLC, independently owned entities, provide professional services in an alternative practice structure in accordance with applicable professional standards.
