Job Description: The Space Imaging Systems Division is currently seeking a Program Financial Analyst with earned value management experience to support programs within the Civil and Commercial Imaging business area. This position will be primarily responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing the control of the budget utilizing Earned Value reporting requirements including defining and analyzing project/program and partner in the development of schedules, data and performance through the entire project and program life cycle for a large development program. The successful candidate will work both independently and, in a team, based environment

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the management of customer reporting
• Assist in the evaluation of program execution, assessing the impact of developing trends and issues using appropriate methodologies to determine if the program is proceeding with available resources and remaining consistent with goals.
• Interact with customers and colleagues effectively when resolving problems.
• Apprise management and all program stakeholders of risk and progress issues
• Provide financial analysis for audits and other financial activities such as forecasting and variance analysis
• Responsible for knowing L3Harris policies and procedures.
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles, theories, and methods to conduct assessments on program cost, technical and schedule baselines.
• Perform complex analyses of projects/programs which include Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis, program schedule analysis, technical performance metrics analysis and integrated performance and financial management analysis.
• Perform value and schedule diagnostic/health assessments, trend analysis, realism analysis of status and remaining durations, correlations of schedule and cost performance analysis.
• Identify key cost, schedule, and technical risk areas and translate the identified risk area into program schedule and costs impacts. Qualifications: (refer to )
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance (or equivalent) with a minimum of 6 years directly related experience in defense or government related contracts, OR Master's Degree with a minimum of 4 years directly related experience in defense or government related contracts.
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) and financial reporting experience
  • Utilization of Earned Value Management (EVM) software (Cobra, EVMS for Project, wInsight)
  • Utilization of PeopleSoft & Queries, profifient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate complex issues and present results to senior leaders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Broad knowledge of project management Preferred Additional Skills:
    • Hyperion Planning and essbase reporting experience
    • Tableau experience
