on the Information Technology (IT) area, you will be a strategic
business partner to IT Leadership, providing financial oversight,
analysis, and interpretation of technology investments to influence
results and grow the business. - You'll utilize insights to
recommend ways to simplify business processes and improve
profitability, as well as advise stakeholders by providing the
information, process improvements, and guidance they need to be
successful.What will I do?
- Manage a team of employees, engage in meaningful conversations
and provide the resources, feedback, and development opportunities
they need to be successful
- Drive usage of tools and processes needed to be successful by
managing the creation, maintenance, and improvement of reporting,
business processes, and best practices
- Partner with IT Leadership to complete annual expense and
capital budgets for IT and related areas
- Influence IT Leadership and other support groups, providing
advisement on investment project planning prioritization and
resource allocation decisions
- Perform research and analysis to identify causes of variances,
share findings with leaders of business units and influence
decisions
- Analyze monthly IT results and project investments, prepare
actionable Project Reporting and review regularly with IT
Leadership to drive visibility and transparency of spend
- Identify improvement areas to control costs and increase
profitability and partner to implement changes, measure results and
hold others accountable
- Drive successful implementation of projects; consider business
risk, financial impact, and process needs to ensure accurate
financial statements
- Partner with IT Leadership and other business unit owners to
identify and implement action plans, measure success, provide
accurate financial analysis, reporting and interpretation of
results
- Integrate technology into existing processes to meet closing
deadlines and improve workflow
- Prioritize workload based on quickly changing priorities to
best meet business needs
- Execute weekly accounting tasks and monthly closing
proceduresRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting
- 3 or more years of experience at the leadership level,
analyzing & interpreting financial data and making recommendations
based on interpretations and research
- Experience with monitoring and controlling expense centers
- Microsoft Excel and Macros skills
- Presentation skills
- Proven ability to maneuver complex situations and influence
stakeholders
- Understanding of the Financial Statements with an aptitude for
financial modeling and scenario/strategy evaluation
- Experience implementing innovative and practical solutions for
improvements to work processes
