Education/Training: B.S. or B.A. degree in accounting, finance,
business administration, or related field; or related degree,
required. Skill(s): Strong reading, writing, grammar, and
mathematics skills; experience in interpreting, analyzing, and
reporting financial information; familiarity with current bank
regulations and generally accepted accounting principles; moderate
interpersonal relations and communicative skills; strong computer
skills (including advanced Excel skills); familiarity with computer
programs and applications related to accounting and reporting;

ability to effectively perform multiple tasks, duties, and jobs
throughout the Finance and Accounting departments.Experience: A
minimum of three (3) years' experience in related positions or
financial services in general, preferred.Location: Canandaigua,
NYGeneral Responsibilities: This position will collaborate closely
with all members of the Accounting, Finance, and Treasury team to
perform a variety of duties to support these functions. Examples of
responsibilities include but are not limited to involvement in the
budget and forecast process, analyzing, and reporting upon
operating results, financial modeling and providing overall
financial support to the enterprise. Working to ensure that data
sources are valid and appropriately utilized across all reporting
channels. Supporting data requests and analysis requested by
various lines of business to support and measure effectiveness of
their strategic initiatives.Essential DutiesPerforms various duties
to support the finance function, of which the following are
- Compiles, analyzes, and communicates operating results,
including providing actual versus budget comparisons to internal
- Assists in the preparation of annual budgets for the Company
and all subsidiaries.
- Assists in the preparation of the latest forecasts and rolling
forecasts throughout the budget year.
- Provides insight and recommendations through analysis and
observation of any risks or opportunities to the business over the
course of the year.
- Participates in and supports the development of long-term
projections and strategic plans for the organization.
- Performs detailed ROI analysis on projects (organization wide)
and helps form recommendations on their viability from a capital
- Assists in the development of models for a range of strategic
opportunities including M&A, footprint expansion/optimization
and asset purchases/divestitures.
- Assists in the development of new models, scenarios, and
measurement tools to effectively track financial success associated
with implemented strategies.
- Participates in the internal development, and maintenance of
Business Intelligence software including effective analytics as an
integral part of our Strategic Plan support.
- Participates in Asset and Liability Management (ALM) related
modeling and reporting & other Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO)
- Coordinates work tasks with other personnel within the Finance,
Accounting, and Treasury, as well as with other departments, in
order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
- Reports pertinent information as requested, or according to an
established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as
directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel.
- Other ad-hoc assignments are needed
- Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and
procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which
is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory
behavior in the work place.
- Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to
all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk
management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's
compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community
Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit
