Successful e-commerce business within luxury jewelry is seeking a Senior Accountant to work closely with the Director of Finance. The company has grown over the past 8 years and continues to expand!The Senior Accountant--holds the following experience - * 3+ years of accounting experience * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, MBA or CPA--or CPA Candidate is a plus* Public Accounting is a plus* e-commerce experience is a plusThe Staff Accountant will be responsible for the following duties - * Monitor accounts payable and receivable * Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of the company * Participate in certain aspects of the month-end and year-end close and timely generation of accurate financial statements * Prepare journal entries and supporting reconciliation schedules * Perform monthly account reconciliations and daily review of accounting transactions to ensure all financial information is properly captured, reconciled, and documented * Assist with registration and filing of state sales tax * Assist in researching technical accounting matters, drafting accounting memos and staying current on new GAAP pronouncements * Experience in preparing financial statements Benefits:75% towards HealthCare Benefits contributed, 18 Days PTO.The Opportunities & Growth is limitless!
