Job Description:

The Corporate Development Senior Analyst has a significant role supporting Mergers & Acquisitions activities, including the strategic and financial evaluation of potential and active targets, financial modeling, business case development, and project support for deal activity.

• Supports the Corporate Development team across all phases of deal activity - deal sourcing, due diligence and post-close integration
• Assists with the strategic evaluation and detailed financial modeling and valuation and development of buy and sell side M&A business cases
• Supports the development of evaluation and diligence work plans
• Participates in the creation and development of deal documents and management presentations
• Develops and prepares presentations on the results of research and analysis of acquisition targets for use by Senior Management.
• Supports the corporate development sourcing process by collaborating across functions to identify, prioritize and pursue opportunities
• Supports deal pipeline development by researching potential acquisition targets. Research activities to include target sectors, geographies, and specific companies using primary and secondary source research methods Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree - Required
  • Master's Degree - Preferred
  • 2 years of experience in M&A with either an investment bank, private equity or corporate development group.
  • 2 years of experience in --- Experience with financial and business analysis / modelling / forecasting, especially as used in M&A. Able to build valuation models.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Demonstrates analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpretation of complex statistical data.
  • Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion.
